Dustin & Maritza are our old neighbours and the parents of our 4 nieces. That's Dusty hanging out in his bathrobe drinking coffee with our neighbour Kent. We live on an odd sort of street (or maybe we're just odd sorts) but it's quite common for us to hang out in pjs & housecoats. The spring, summer, and fall find the adults drinking coffee in the driveway and the kids riding bikes on the street. We live 1/2 way down a deadend street so it's perfect for kids to play on, there's not much traffic and almost every house has kids.
Maritza & Morgan. Morgan is 3.5 and learning to ride a two wheeler. Kayla, the 7 year old that lives beside us was riding her new bike too. But she must have been too fast for the camera!
The babies, Isobel and Elena. They are 17 months and will be Sofias source of clothing for many many years to come!
Cutie Elena. Grant pulled out that ball for the babies to play with. I bought it for him the day that we signed on with our local agency and "got the adoption ball rolling"! :) The babies are learning to kick, it made for very fun games! (Good idea Uncle Grant)
In the afternoon we met Grants sister Regina & her boys at the soccer field where her husband Troy was playing.
This is an extremely happy Auntie and an unusually snugly Beckett (5 months)!! Poor Beckett has a cold and mean Auntie pulled him out of his warm cozy seat because she needed cuddles! He did alright though, once I snuggled him in to my vest he was very content.
It was a perfect day! The only thing missing was Sofia. Come home little girl, your cousins want to play with you!
