Last Sunday we asked Uncle James, Auntie Kiki, and Vincent to join us at the Royal BC Museum. The kids were really well behaved and it was great to explore with them.
This exhibit had animals mounted in the center and all around it had identifying items. There were footprints, stool samples, teeth and a few other things I didn't have a chance to look at. Daddy and Sofia checking out the mountain goat.Maizie checking out the poo with Uncle James. The poo was all different textures based on the animals diet (I would assume). I thought it was pretty interesting really.
Sofia the 'ittsy bittys spider'. The only picture I could get of her was when she'd fallen down!
Vincents favourite part, The Wooly Mammoth! I got to talk to a lady volunteering at this exhibit and there have been mammoth remains found in Victoria. One in Oak Bay area and one in the cliffs at Island View Beach. I was so surprised to hear this, I'm not sure why but I was.
