When I was a kid it was always such a treat to go to Storybook Gardens. It was very exciting for me to be able to share this special place with Sofia.

To me the best part about Storybook is the animals. We saw seals, river otters, sheep, goats, bunnies, a horse, a cow, and lots of different kinds of birds. Since I was a kid they have added quite a bit on, there is now a huge playground at the back all done in a pirate theme and there's a big splash pad too. More on the splash pad tomorrow....
