Because our daughter is there!
Her name is Sofia Ann Tahir Dybdal and her birthday is May 11 so that means she is almost 8 months old! Our referral call came on Dec 21 at 1615, we were so amazed! We took the information to Mexico with us and spent the whole week in a happy daze. We are now waiting for our court date to make her legally ours. We are expecting to travel to pick her up in 6 - 8 months.
I'm not going to post a picture of her right now, I'm going to wait till after our court date. But I can assure you that she is beautiful! The process of international adoption is a gigantic roller coaster. I am fully appreciating this "high" because I'm sure that there are some stomach turning "drops" coming. For now we are just focusing on how great it feel to be parents and trying to figure out what in the world we are going to do with a one year old! We've got lots of work to do around the house to get ready.
