Getting ready for Santa

The girls made these cookies on Saturday for Santa.

Thank you Heather for the inspiration behind this one. I used edible ink pens from my cookie decorating stash to make these.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care by Sally Twinkle and her kids.

Riding on a reindeer

Tonight our nanny brought the girls a Christmas present. It was a family of ponies! It was so sweet of her to bring the girls a present and the girls were so excited about the ponies.

Sally Twinkle was excited too but only because ponies remind her of reindeer. 

Tonight was too much work

I've heard people say "That elf on the shelf seems like too much work." Well tonight it was but I did it to myself. I thought to myself "Self, wouldn't it be fun if Sally Twinkle made cookies for the girls?" and I said "No Self, that would be too much work. What if she made playdough and coloured with with gumballs."

Et voila!  Now to try to get the dye off my hands so I don't get framed as an accomplice!  (I wore gloves to prevent staining but sadly one of my gloves had a hole.)
